Tuesday May 6th, at 10:00 AM -- The Museum School of Avondales Estates (grades K-6) will demonstrate its unique hands-on “Expeditionary Learning” curriculum. The school offers students real-life experience with classroom lessons that drive curiosity. The educational model encourages exploration and creativity, enhanced by partnerships with local museums and other learning institutions.
Thursday, May 8th, at 10:00 AM -- Latin Academy Charter School(grades 6-8) will demonstrate its college-prep program. The schooloffers a challenging classical curriculum where the study of Latin supports student vocabulary development and prepares students for greater success in rigorous high school programs. Latin Academy requires double-periods of English/Language Arts and mathematics, plus an extended school day and school year.

Visits to these charter schools will include a meeting with the Principal to learn what sets their school apart and a chance to see the school in action. Community and business leaders and local officials are also expected to attend.
