NAACP Atlanta Branch Holds 2014 Jondelle Johnson Freedom Fund Dinner
September 20, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Ballroom, in downtown Atlanta at 7:00 p.m.

The Atlanta Branch of the NAACP renamed its Freedom Fund Dinner several years ago to honor Jondelle Johnson, the Branchβs long-time Executive Director. And since the renaming of this annual event, the Jondelle Johnson Freedom Fund Dinner has become one of the most impressive gatherings of VIPβs, corporate representatives, celebrities, and Atlantaβs movers and shakers to be held during this cityβs banquet season. This year will be no exception.
The 2014 Jondelle Johnson Freedom Fund Dinner will be held Saturday, September 20, at the Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Ballroom, in downtown Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. The Honorable William βBillβ and Sharon Campbell, and The Honorable Ambassador Andrew and Carolyn Young, are chairpersons of the gala fundraising event. Our Honorary Chairs are Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard; Atlanta City Mayor Kasim Reed; Council President Ceasar Mitchell; City Council Member, District Five, Natayln Archibong; Attorney BJ Bernstein; and Dr. Cassandra Wanzo. Austen Williams, Mrs. America 2014, and the Stellar Award Winner and Grammy Nominated Gospel personality James Fortune, host of Praise 102.5 FM, will serve as Co-Host for the eveningβs program. The price for this event is $125.00 per person and$1,250.00 for a table of ten. Sponsorship and advertisement placement opportunities are available.
This yearβs honorees are Dominique Wilkins, Vice President of Atlanta Hawks; Amanda Davis, retired Fox News Anchor; Brenda Woods, WXIA News Anchor; Atlanta Falconβs Favorite Chuck Smith; Pastor David Kenney, Sr., and Fulton County Sheriff Ted Jackson. Our this year are Bank of America, Fulton County Sheriffβs Department, Radio One; and our Community Partner of the Year award goes to Rick Caffey of V-103 and WAOK.
