The Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation presents: "In the Name of Love" - A Valentine's Event - Saturday, February 13, 2016, 7- 11:00

The Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to provide scholarships to deserving and qualifying college bound high school students. Since 1997 the foundation has provided over 277 scholarships to students in the Atlanta area.

β€œIn the Name of Love” is a festive, fun-filled evening for β€œvalentines.” Lovers, wannabes and friends will dance the night away to the sensational sounds of DJ Ro. Place your entry for β€œyour favorite love song” for a chance to win a prize: a bouquet of roses, hotel stays, gift baskets and more for you and your special someone. Also, door prizes will be given away. All this including dinner for only $60 per ticket; table of eight for $480.00. Proceeds benefit the Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation to help students pay for college.

Approximately 71% of students in 2015 graduating with a bachelor’s degree have incurred $35,000 in student loan debt. Their parents have incurred an additional $30,000 in debt. Total debt in 2015 for those graduating with a bachelor’s degree = $68 billion.
