Piedmont Park Arts Festival Host Inaugural Preview Party Benefiting the Piedmont Park Conservancy

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Piedmont Park Conservancy, the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces will host its first ever Piedmont Park Arts Festival VIP Preview Party at the Historic Greystone Bath House.  On Friday, August 15 from 7 to 10 p.m., art lovers will have the chance to preview and purchase original small-format artwork from artists participating in the 2014 festival including Juan Adaro, Sheron Davis, Jenny Henley, Chris Mason, Rosa McMurtray, Whitney Summerford Spoon, and Marc Villanueva.   With all proceeds benefiting the Piedmont Park Conservancy, VIP ticketholders are invited to enjoy complimentary cocktails courtesy of Midnight Moon Moonshine, Cathead Vodka, and Four Roses Bourbon and all guests will be treated to heavy hors d'oeuvres with white glove service courtesy of Ocean Catering Company, live music and much more.

"We are honored to partner with the Piedmont Park Conservancy to co-host a fundraiser for their extraordinary work preserving and enhancing the park, while being able to show Conservancy members and invited guests a sneak peek of the exciting artists who will be participating in the 2014 Piedmont Park Arts Festival,” says Patrick Dennis, Executive Director of the Atlanta Foundation of Public Spaces.

Tickets are $50 for the VIP Early Admission and Quick Sale at 7 p.m. featuring $100 works by participating artists and $35 General Admission beginning at 8 p.m. VIP tickets for existing Conversancy members are $30 and $20 for new members. The 2014 Piedmont Park Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor event held on August 15 and 16 with an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces. Located in one of the most respected and beautiful public parks in the City of Atlanta, the fifth annual event will feature up to 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers and crafters!
