Grand Re-opening of Historic West End Bookstore

For over 40 years, the Shrines of the Black Madonna Cultural Center and Bookstore has been an African-centered literary staple in Atlanta’s historic West End Community. It has provided Atlantans and many visitors throughout the south and across the nation a venue of African and African-American books, artifacts, jewelry, and more. On Saturday, January 30, 2016, the Shrines of the Black Madonna Bookstore and Cultural Center will a have a Grand Re-Opening. Recently it was closed for renovations and reconfiguration. Shop this Saturday, January 30th for all your African-centered and African cultural needs. The store opens Tuesday thru Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm and on Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm.
