South Central Georgia Drifters Help Local Seniors Deck the Halls
Local Women's Civic Organization Donates Handcrafted Wreaths to the Residents of Arbor Terrace for the Fourth Consecutive Year
The South Central Georgia Drifters, a local womenβs civic and charitable organization, delivered Christmas wreaths to Arbor Terrace at Cascade on Friday, December 4 for the fourth consecutive year. The organizationβs members make dozens of wreaths to help residents and staff deck the halls of the assisted living facility. The wreaths adorn the doors of the main entrance, dining room and first floor residences.
Members of the South Central Georgia Drifters and their children and grandchildren also bring Christmas cards and gifts to help make the season bright as part of the organizationβs mission to βSave our children, assist our Seniors.β
βThis is one of our favorite community outreach programs each year,β said Ramona Ryan and Erma Murphy, the chapterβs co-founders. βItβs a multigenerational and fun-filled event, and an opportunity to honor Seniors in our community.β
