Spelman College hosts Book Signing and Discussion for Newly Released book of Dr. Richard Benson

Richard Benson, Ph.D., author, advocate, and assistant professor of Education Studies at Spelman College, will share excerpts from his newly released book, “Fighting For Our Place in the Sun: Malcolm X and the Radicalization of the Black Student Movement, 1960-1973” at a combined book signing and discussion on Tuesday, Feb. 10. During the talk, Dr. Benson will discuss the book, which illuminates the untold tenets of Malcolm X’s educational philosophy.
