Last week, the Lions knocked off East Coweta 31-21 to improve to 3-4. The win snapped a four-game losing streak after opening the year at 2-0.

With just three games remaining on the schedule, Westlake hopes to finish strong, and the first step toward this goal begins Saturday night when it travels to Covington to face Newton (3-4).

Westlake looks to earn a repeat performance against Newton following last year’s 33-13 rout over the Rams.
