Atlanta Teen to Plead Guilty to Stabbing Grandmother to Death
Charles Price is accused of stabbing the 76-year-old woman more than 50 times in an argument over a DVR.

ATLANTA, GA -- A southwest Atlanta teenager is expected to plead guilty on Wednesday to stabbing his grandmother to death almost two years ago.
According to Fulton County D.A. Paul Howard, Charles Price III was 14 when he stabbed 76-year-old Mary Price more than 50 times on April 18, 2014.
Price then went to Therrell High School wearing blood-soaked clothes. Howard said that “When teachers questioned Price, he stated ‘I killed it.’ ”

Price and his grandmother got into an argument over a DVR, according to Christian Today. Medical reports say Mary Price died of multiple stab wounds and trauma.
Police also found two broken knives when they arrived at Mary Price’s Fairburn residence.

Charles Price is expected to plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter and possession of a knife during commission of a felony.
