The Feast of Absalom Jones--A Celebration in Honor of the First Ordained African American Priest in the US

Join people from throughout the Episcopal Church in Middle and North Georgia to commemorate the life and ministry of Absalom Jones, the first African-American priest in the Episcopal Church. Sponsored by the Union of Black Episcopalians Atlanta Chapter, the event features Diocese of Atlanta Bishop Rob Wright as preacher.

Choirs from throughout the diocese have been invited to participate in a massed choir.  The event is open to all.
