The Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center to Open Thursday, June 19, 2014

I. Darnell, District 5, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and FultonΒ County Arts and Culture, will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center (ACCC) on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.Β 



The grand opening celebration will kick-off three days of activities

organized to introduce the new facility to the community and increase awareness
of the center, its programming and activities.Β 

TheΒ center is located at 3900 Aviation Circle, Atlanta, Georgia 30336, on the

grounds of Fulton County Airport – Brown Field.Β 
It is designed as a community gathering place and will focus on Cultural, Aviation and CommunityΒ programming.Β 

After the grand opening an informal
Open House will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Β  On Friday guests and residents can tour the
center and learn more about facility and the programming it offers. Β

Family Day at the Aviation Community
Cultural Center will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Families, kids, residents, business owners and visitors to the city are invited to come
out and join in the fun.Β  Numerous art
activities, exhibitions, paper airplane making, dance, music, refreshments,
tours of the facility, and much more will be on hand for all to experience.
