The Reality of Jesus at Grace Temple!

As many individuals voice varied opinions about recent reality shows which highlight “celebrity” pastors, there are a number of men and women who have answered the call to serve God’s people without fanfare or sensationalism.  One such pastor is Rev. Gerald Gibson, Senior Pastor of Grace Temple Church at 696, Suite B-1, Mt. Zion Road in Jonesboro, Georgia.  He is ably supported by his loving wife, Crystal (Grimes) Gibson.  In 2010, the couple launched a dynamic ministry with Jesus Christ as the true center.  Dedicated to serve the Body of Christ, Pastor Gibson and the First Lady in his life are well prepared to be used by God as willing and effective vessels.  Thanking God for advanced degrees in ministry as well as education, they are both Holy-ghost filled and eager to lead others to Christ.  They have been called to do a special work in a special time.

Weekly, Pastor Gibson delivers a message of redemption, hope and encouragement.  He does so when many individuals are overwhelmed by adversity, including financial and personal challenge.  In sharp contrast to television episodes seemingly designed to entertain, he is transparent and FULL of godly reality! His compassionate sharing and teaching form the foundation to lead others TO the church as opposed to DRIVING THEM AWAY because they are turned off by an overdone image of luxury and lavish lifestyle among clergy.

Pastor Gibson and Crystal have humbly expressed a genuine burden for families, singles, seniors, men and women.  Even though they are concerned for all souls, they deliberately chose to launch a ministry in Clayton County because of certain challenges within this particular section of the metropolitan area.  Grace Temple has made a difference. Families have come to join them and have strengthened their walk with the Lord.  For this, the Gibsons are most grateful. Yet, they know their work has just begun!  The doors of Grace Temple are open to all!   Pastor Gibson has been called to spread the Gospel.  Other than souls being saved, little else matters.

During the holiday season, Grace Temple will highlight the message of Jesus through opportunities provided through a COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR.  (The choir rehearses on Sundays at 12:00 noon while the adults are in regular worship service).  The rehearsals are Bible-focused so the Word of God as it relates to their lives remains a standard part of all children activities at the church.  The choir will present a special presentation on December 22, 2013 during the noon service.  This promises to be a heart-warming tribute to God for the gift of His Son.  ALL CHILDREN (AND THEIR PARENTS) ARE INVITED TO SHARE THIS SPECIAL GRACE EXPERIENCE.  The rehearsals are scheduled for (December 1, 8 and 15.

If your soul needs renewal, especially during this holiday season, you are invited to GRACE TEMPLE any Sunday at 12:00 noon.  You will find a warm, intimate and spiritually uplifting environment.  Prepare to be cared about, to be prayed for and to feel the love of Christ all around you!  This is the reality GRACE TEMPLE seeks to share!
