United States Tennis Association (USTA) Atlanta and Red Hare Brewing Company have joined forces to make 2014 a summer to remember with The Red Hare Brewing Company Tennis League. For the second year in a row, beginners to experienced players are invited to join the league and play in a laid back and social atmosphere every Monday night throughout the summer beginning at 6:30 p.m. Following a kickoff celebration on June 9, 2014, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles teams will enjoy seven weeks of fun, competitive match play and an end of season party at Red Hare Brewing Company. The winners of each division will compete in a city championship in July 2014. Participating facilities include: Piedmont Park, Sandy Springs Tennis Center, Roswell Park and Harrison Tennis Center.
Registration is now open for teams of six or more through June 2, 2014. No team? No problem! With the help of Red Hare’s new “Find a Team” feature, no player will be left on the sidelines this summer. A $60 registration fee includes a Red Hare team t-shirt, court fees for seven-weeks of play, participation in the kick-off day and pro clinic, entry to the end of the season party at Red Hare Brewing Company for ages 21 and up, food and drink specials at local bars and restaurants, and entry into weekly giveaways.
