Verizon Amphitheatre Great Place for Atlanta Eats Live
Great atmopshere and Fab Food Make Atlanta Eats Live a Big Hit
Drove 40 miles to Verizon Amphitheatre at Encore Park Saturday, October 24th for the third annual Atlanta Eats Live food tasting event. First time at the Amphitheatre and first time attending the event. Both were a hit. Found the venue to be a great place for a tasting. Plenty of space, close and easy parking and the evening cool fall tempatures made it a pleasant experience.
My first stop among the 40 restaurants on hand ended up being the best in my book as Tin Lizzyβs chicken tacos were absolutely my fav of all. Have never been to the restaurant but must make a trip there for those tacos. The Corner Grille, a College Park restaurant that serves some of the best crawfish omelettes in town on the Sunday Brunch menu, served up Gumbo and dessert on this evening.
Always great to see King of Pops and try their flavorable popsicles. New to me and an interesting treat was Bubbleologist flavored green tea in a rainbow of colors.

Live entertainment, VIP section with bar and more restaurants and a comfortable crowd standing in line for just a brief time was a plus. The beef rib tacos and cupcakes by Sprinkles were also at the top of my list of best of.
Live music was performed by local bands Atlanta Rythm Section and the Georgia Sattelites and sponsors were Stella Artois, Kia, Piedmont Healthcare, Gas South. Bayou Rum and Peach Dish.

Bumped into Atlata Eats owner Steak Shapiro, his wife Kimberly and sister-in-law Kate in the VIP section and shared my favorable impression of the event and the TV show which airs on Peachtree TV. For listing times visit atlantaeats.com
