West End Shooting: Man Kills Suspected Car Thief
Murder warrants have been issued for the suspect.

SW ATLANTA, GA -- Murder warrants are being secured for a man who allegedly shot and killed a suspected car thief Saturday night near West End Mall.
Police say William Blackwell, 50, attempted to steal Raheem Scott's black sedan while the car was outside an Exxon station on Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard near West End Mall. Scott, 25, was inside the store and when he came out, he allegedly shot Blackwell five times and killed him, reports the AJC.
Witnesses told Channel 2 Action News there was a woman in the passenger's seat, who has not been identified.

Scott walked back into the store and asked employees to call 9-1-1. He then turned himself into police.
