• NE Ga. cemetery operator target of complaints to state officials (wgtjradio.com) — Families with loved ones at Jackson Memorial Gardens in Commerce should know the cemetery’s operator has agreed to three years of state oversight and $375,000 in improvements after complaints at several northeast Georgia cemeteries. While Commerce’s cemetery had shorter headstone delays than others, inspectors still cited maintenance issues, and failure to complete the promised upgrades could cost the operator fines or its business registration.
