1 Dead, 1 Injured After Altercation Leads To Cumming Shooting

Authorities said the two men got into a physical altercation, which led to the men shooting each other Wednesday.

CUMMING, GA — A man is dead, and another man is injured, after Forsyth County authorities said a physical altercation between the two people Wednesday led to a shooting.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded around 7:40 a.m. to a shooting in the 2500 block of Ivy Street.

Authorities said the two men were temporary employees at a "warehouse type business" and had gotten into a fight. Both men retrieved guns and shot each other, authorities said.

The man who died has not been identified, and the man who was injured is in critical condition, authorities said.

Any potential charges in the case are unknown.
