1 Dead, 2 Injured After Sunday Forsyth Crash

One man is dead and two people were injured in a two-car crash Sunday on Keith Bridge Road, just east of Leland Drive.​

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — One man is dead and two people were injured in a two-car crash Sunday on Keith Bridge Road, just east of Leland Drive.

Manuel Oblea-Suarez, 59, of Gainesville, (Hall County) Ga., was pronounced dead after being transported to Northeast Medical Center by ambulance. Jose M. Flores, 28, of Gainesville, and a 16-year-old from Cumming were also transported to Northeast Medical Center withnon-life threatening injuries.

At 7:25 a.m., the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, where a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling east on Keith Bridge Road near Leland Drive, when the Malibu crossed over the centerline hitting a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix which was traveling west on Keith Bridge Road, according to police.

The 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was being operated by Flores and the front seat passenger was Oblea-Suarez.

The 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was being operated by the 16 year-old. His name is not being released because of his age.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Traffic Specialist Unit. Charges pending the
outcome of the investigation.
