2 Arrests Made In 6 Armed Robbery Cases: Forsyth Sheriff's Office
Two arrests have been made in six armed robbery cases that took place throughout Forsyth and Gwinnett Counties.

CUMMING, GA - Two arrests have been made in six armed robbery cases throughout two counties, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Dametrius Sims, of Snellville, and Oshay Howard, of Norcross, were both arrested based in part upon a robbery that occurred at Mangia Ristorante in the 5000 block of McGinnis Ferry Rd. in Forsyth County.
Between August and October 2017, a joint investigation consisting of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit culminated in the arrests. During the investigation it was determined that Sims and Howard were responsible for approximately six armed robberies having occurred between the two jurisdictions, according to the Forsyth Sheriff's Office.

Criminal arrest warrants were obtained for Sims and Howard in Forsyth County. Sims is currently being held at the Gwinnett County Adult Detention Center and Howard is being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center for charges related to the robberies in Gwinnett and Forsyth Counties.
