20 Years Later, Forsyth Boy's Death Under Investigation
Levi Frady was 11 when he went missing in Forsyth County in 1997. Georgia's Levi's Call is named in his memory.

CUMMING, GA — Twenty years ago this week, 11-year-old Levi Frady had spent the day playing with his friends. When it started to get dark, he hopped on his bike to head back to his rural Forsyth County home.
He would never make it.
Someone abducted Levi that day. On Oct. 23, 1997 — the first day of rifle hunting season — the boy's body was found miles away in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management area in neighboring Dawson County. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says he was brutally murdered.

Levi's young life was cut short. But, two decades later his legacy lives on.
Levi's Call — Georgia's version of the Amber Alert, an emergency call that goes out to the public when a child is abducted — is named in his honor. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app)

And investigators haven't given up on trying to bring whoever committed the horrible crime to justice.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, Dawson County Sheriff's Office and the GBI are still working the case. This week, they asked the public for help finding two men they're publicly calling possible witnesses to Levi's murder.
The first is a man who was seen walking along Little Mill Road in Forsyth County at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 22, 1997 — the day Levi went missing. He is described as a white male in his late 50s with a scruffy gray beard. He was wearing a faded blue baseball cap and walking in a stooped fashion.

The second man investigators are seeking was seen in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area.
He is described as a white male, between 45-55 year old and clean shaven. He was about 6' or 6'1" tall with a slim build and white or gray hair. He was driving a 1980-85 blue Toyota two-wheel drive pickup truck with a white camper shell over the bed.

Anyone with information on the men, or other information in the case, may contact the GBI, or the sheriff's offices in Forsyth and Dawson counties.
