33rd Annual Atlanta Ride for Kids

Atlanta Ride for Kids to hold it's annual ride & family day on Sunday, June 5th. Proceeds benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundatio

CUMMING, GA – On June 5th, the Atlanta Ride for Kids Task Force will be coordinating its annual Atlanta Ride for Kids. This event will raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to fund research into treatments and cures. It will also provide family support.

The police escorted ride will start and finish at the Cumming Fairgrounds in Cumming, GA. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 10:00 a.m., rain or shine. There is no mandatory fee to participate, however a tax deductible donation of $40 is suggested for all riders.

Light breakfast will be provided before the ride and a light lunch will be provided after the ride. Incentives will be provided at various donation levels. Music throughout the day will be provided by 94.9 The Bull. Entertainment will be provided by rising country singer/song writer, Caryn Womack (www.carynwomackmusic.com), freestyle stunt motorcycle performer, Josh Borne of Borne Freestyle Live entertainment (www.bornefreestyle.com), precision motorcycle lesson provider, Scott Ford, of Ride Like a Pro (http://www.ridelikeaproatlanta.com/), and exhibition races will be run by the North Georgia Quarter Midget Association (http://www.ngqma.com/) throughout the afternoon. Fun & games will be available to round out a complete family fun day.

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is a non-profit organization that relies on generous philanthropic and volunteer support. It is also the first non-profit organization in the United States to focus on the brain tumor disease. Their mission is to provide financial assistance, social support, and information for families of children with brain and spinal cord tumors; fund research projects that improve treatment options and search for a cure; and raise public awareness of the disease and advocate on behalf of children who are affected.
