5K Set For Firefighter Whose Car Was Stolen During Wife's Chemo
A family's truck, along with other sentimental items, was stolen Aug. 27 while the Forsyth County firefighter's wife was having chemo.

DAWSONVILLE, GA — As if battling cancer wasn't bad enough, a local family had their truck stolen while the mother was getting chemo.
On Aug. 27, Forsyth County Firefighter Matt Clark's truck was stolen while his wife, Kari, was receiving an infusion at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan. Along with the truck, the thieves also stole many valuable and sentimental items that were in the truck.
The community has now rallied together to support the family and is holding The Daisy Dash 5K on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Rock Creek Park, 445 Martin Road in Dawsonville.
