The Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Russell Landscape Group, Inc. will move forward with a 27,000 square foot expansion in Forsyth County. The company’s newest facility will be located on Pendley Road in Cumming, Georgia. The expansion is projected to generate approximately 50 new jobs while producing nearly $20,000 in new capital investment.

Founded in 1987 by brothers William “Bill” Russell and Robert “Bob” Russell, the Russell Landscape Group, Inc. has emerged as one of Atlanta’s premiere family managed commercial landscape companies. Since 1990 the company has consistently been ranked among the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s top commercial landscape contractors. Russell Landscape Group, Inc. serves five metro areas including Atlanta, Birmingham, Charleston, Destin, Nashville, and Savannah. Currently employing around 250 employees, the Russell brothers are still involved with the daily management of the firm.
“Our newest facility (located in South Forsyth County) offers our firm the strategic geographical location for success! It allows our team to service all of Forsyth and North Fulton County. Russell Landscape Group plans to operate 10 to 15 plus service trucks, and potentially employ 25 to 50 people at this location” commented COO, Bob Russell.
This project serves as the tenth economic development project that the Chamber of Commerce has participated in this year. Since January of 2012 the Chamber of Commerce’s economic development activities have generated approximately 379 new jobs and $16.7 million in new capital investment.
