Armed Men Rob Restaurant In Cumming
Investigators say the robbery happened late Saturday at a restaurant on McGinnis Ferry Road.

CUMMING, GA — Forsyth County authorities are investigating an armed robbery that happened late Saturday at a Cumming restaurant.
According to the sheriff's office, the robbery happened in the 5000 block of McGinnis Ferry Road, at The Village At Flynn Crossing shopping center. There are several restaurants in the center and a release from the sheriff's office did not say which one it was.

Two suspects dressed in dark clothing and armed with handguns approached a manager and employee of the restaurant and demanded money, the sheriff's office said. They then fled south onto McGinnis Ferry Road in a tan or bronze colored sedan.
The victims were not physically harmed during the robbery, according to the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office said there will be increased deputy patrols in the area "for the foreseeable future."

Investigators ask anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around Flynn's Crossing Saturday night to call the sheriff's office at 770-781-3087.
