Award-Winning Photographer to Conduct Portraits of Veterans in Johns Creek
Thomas Sanders will photograph Belmont Village residents who are veterans of the military at its Johns Creek community on Tuesday, June 23.

Thomas Sanders, a nationally-recognized photographer known for his award-winning book, The Last Good War: The Faces and Voices of WWII, will be photographing resident veterans at Belmont Village Senior Living in Johns Creek on Tuesday, June 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Belmont has commissioned Sanders for a national tour of its 24 communities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. The portraits of residents with service memorabilia will be stored in permanent galleries in each community.
Those unable to attend Sanders’ visit to Johns Creek may instead attend his visit to Belmont’s location in Buckhead, Atlanta, on Wednesday, June 24 from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
