Meet a local Realtor with a heart — and a hammer

Imagine for a moment you could find a local real estate agent with

  • amazing energy
  • deep knowledge of the changing market in the Atlanta area
  • an obsession with customer service
  • rave reviews from past clients

Now imagine that Realtor came with a top-notch builder — someone who could help you evaluate a home or who could help you get a home ready to sell for the best price.

Impossible, you're probably thinking.

Meet Amanda and Andy Shelton of Heart & Hammer Realty. She's a Top 20% Keller Williams agent with deep expertise in the North Atlanta market, including this 5-bedroom with a stunning backyard. He's an experienced builder who can evaluate a home from the inside out — and do something about it.

"He likes to say he's the heart, and I'm the hammer," Amanda says. "But it's the opposite — unless we're negotiating."

Whether you're looking to buy, sell, build or invest, work with a trusted local team who can serve as your partners in this rapidly evolving market. Call or text Amanda today at 770.572.0722, or email her at amandashelton@kw.com.

Here are the top stories today in Cumming:

  1. To help fight breast cancer, Beaver Toyota presented a $52,000 check Thursday to Athens-based nonprofit Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer. To raise the funds, the car dealer donated a portion of every vehicle sold in October to the nonprofit. Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer was founded by Jay and Teresa Abbott when Teresa was diagnosed with breast cancer. Teresa was told she was cancer free 18 months after her diagnosis, and the family began the organization as a way to give back to the community. (Forsyth County News Online)
  2. 'Tis the season for giving. As part of the 20th annual Aerial's House toy collection drive, the Forsyth County Fire Department is asking for help in making the holiday season brighter for children in need. Items for children in need (between 0-18 years old) can be donated at any Forsyth County fire station or Fire Department Headquarters (3520 Settingdown Road) through Dec. 9. (Forsyth County Government)
  3. A Rome man has been charged with murder after 21-year-old Aaron William Davis of Cumming was found stabbed to death in Rome, Georgia Saturday. According to Floyd County Jail reports, Brandon Christopher Risner, 21, is charged with murder and felony obstruction of law enforcement, aggravated assault and concealing the death of another. Davis, who died from multiple stab wounds, was carrying a Brigham Young University ID card. (Rome News Tribune)
