Carrington Academy Midway in Cumming Donates $7,000 for CHOA

Students donated toys and funds for Mason's Broken Heart Toy Drive and CHOA in support of a Carrington Academy student's brother

Students at Carrington Academy Midway in Cumming recently partnered with Mason’s Broken Heart Toy Drive to donate toys to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). In support of a current Carrington Academy family who has a son with a congenital heart disease, students set up a donation box in the lobby of their school and collected more than 35 toys for CHOA this holiday season. Through a GoFund Me page, students also raised almost $7,000 to go toward the purchase of new toys for CHOA. Each year, Mason and his family ask for help in providing children, who are spending their holiday season in the hospital, with special toys or other items CHOA may need.
