Students from three Carrington Academy schools in Cumming joined together to paint pictures of flowers and create gardens
In celebration of Earth Day, kindergarten students at Carrington Academy Midway in Cumming hosted students from Carrington Academy McFarland and Carrington Academy on Kelly Mill Road to take part in several gardening projects at their school. Together, students from the three schools learned about the different parts of a flower, planted seeds in jars and painted pictures of flowers. Students also planted fruits and vegetables in a garden on the playground. They will continue to take care of the plants as they grow and will harvest the fruits and vegetables for snacks and lunches once they are ready.
