Carrington Academy Windermere Visits Local Senior Community
Students recognized Earth Day by creating terrariums with residents at Towne Club Windermere
On April 23, students from Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming paid a special visit to Towne Club Windermere to celebrate Earth Day with residents. Students and residents worked together to fill recycled two-liter bottles with gravel, soil, moss, activated charcoal and succulent plants to create the terrariums. Carrington Academy Windermere has an ongoing partnership with Towne Club Windermere and teaches students the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
