- 'Tis the season. The 19th Annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Festival at Lanier Tech will be held today from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Come get a photo in Santa's sleigh or visit The Elf Corner, where only kids can shop. Food vendors and local charities and organizations will also be in attendance at this family-friendly event. Lanier Tech is located at 3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd. (Patch)
- Bring your tractors and engines as the 19th Annual Cumming Steam, Antique Power & Gas Engine Expo will be taking place today from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Cumming Fairgrounds. Come enjoy steam engines, tractors, engines, a working sawmill, shingle mill and a working cotton gin. Free parking on site. Kids 12 and under are free and 13 and older costs $5. (Explore Georgia)
- Sharon Forks Library will host a special screening of the film "Dancing Joy" today from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. along with live dance performances showcasing dancers from the Sharmadayini Dance Academy.
