City of Cumming to Hold Proposed Budget Presentation Next Week

The Cumming City Council will get its first look at the proposed fiscal year 2015 budget during a special called meeting scheduled for next week.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at noon at Cumming City Hall, reports the city’s website. Citizens attending the meeting will be given a copy of the budget to analyze for themselves. Interested citizens can also pick up a copy of the budget any time during regular business hours in the days following the meeting. Regular business hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A public hearing concerning the proposed budget will take place on Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. during the regularly scheduled Cumming City Council meeting. The city council will vote on to adopt a budget during their Dec. 16 meeting.
