"My favorite part of teaching is taking on each new day not knowing what will happen, whether it will be laughter, tears of joy, or tears of compassion," said Mooney. "At the end of each year, I love to watch each of my students walk across the stage. Seeing the pride in the faces of my students gives me great joy when they receive their diploma. I have watched many of them grow for young sophomores to mature seniors who are ready to face life head on. They are my Angel Babies, and I am their proud Mama Mooney."
