Cosmetology Institute to Open in Cumming

Prime real estate key in establishing decision to open beauty school in Forsyth County.

MAK Beauty Institute announced that it will open its beauty institute location at 570 Lakeland Plaza in Cumming on Monday, Sept. 26. The facility is 4,000 square feet and is reportedly fully-equipped with the newest and up-to-date technology which will provide students with the best education.

The curriculum used at MAK includes all required courses for those wishing to obtain either a cosmetology license or an instructor license from the State of Georgia. The institute will offer flexible class scheduling. 

MAK Beauty Institute is, according to Brianne Coleman, Officer Manager, “the premier establishment dedicated to providing top level education and preparation for a career in cosmetology.”

The Lakeland Plaza location was chosen for its convenience—easy to find, near GA 400, Highway 20, and Highway 9.

MAK’s tuition and class schedule are flexible and supportive to all who want to explore the world of cosmetology as a career. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration for classes may be completed online

A grand opening event is schedule for Oct. 1 and will be open to the public.
