Cumming Art Exhibition And Sale Runs Until Saturday

The Sawnee Artists Association (SAA) has combined two popular exhibitions into one large exhibition and art sale featuring the works of photographers and 2D and 3D artists.

“Through the Lens,” which features compositions by photographers has been joined with “Colors of Fall,” which focuses on paintings, sketches, woodworking, sculptures, and other two and three dimensional media. SAA says that both exhibitions will run together at the Lanier Technical College’s Sexton Hall Enrichment Center in Cumming until Sept. 13.

The theme for the combined exhibitions is “Balancing Act,” reports the SAA on its website. Both exhibitions feature separate jurying, judging and awards shows. The exhibition will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Forsyth County Arts Alliance has provided a grant for the exhibition and is named as a sponsor on the SAA’s website.
