Cumming Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash
Forsyth County authorities say the man's vehicle left the roadway, crashed through a fence and hit a tree.

CUMMING, GA — A 27-year-old Cumming man died shortly after midnight Monday after his vehicle left the roadway, crashed through a fence and hit a tree, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
Authorities said the crash happened around 12:15 a.m. in the 1500 block of Independence Trail.
A 2004 Nissan Pathfinder, being driven by Jake Navarro, was heading south on Atlanta Highway near Anthem Parkway, when Navarro failed to maintain his lane while negotiating a hard left curve, authorities said.

The Pathfinder went through a fence and hit a tree, killing Navarro, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
