CUMMING, GA — July 4th is quickly approaching, and the City of Cumming is celebrating big with an Independence Day parade, festival and fireworks. We gathered up all the details on the fireworks show, parade and festival in Cumming so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th around Cumming:

What: July 4 Steam Engine Parade

Where: The parade route travels south on Tribble Gap Road, starting at Forsyth Central High School and ending at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

When: July 4, Parade starts at 10 a.m. (arrive early for best viewing)

The 62nd annual Thomas - Mashburn Steam Engine Parade is July 4th tradition in the City of Cumming. Thousands of peoples line the streets to celebrate Independence Day. With a wide variety of floats you’ll see local businesses, sports teams, dance academies, antique cars, tractors, steam engines and much more! The parade route travels south on Tribble Gap Road, starting at Forsyth Central High School and ending at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

What: JULY 4TH CELEBRATION

When: July 4 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Cumming Fairgrounds, 235 Castleberry Road

Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends on Thursday, July 4! Cumming Fairgrounds will host a fun-filled day and evening of entertainment and children’s activities from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., with a spectacular fireworks display to begin at 9:30 p.m. The celebration includes Live Music, Alcohol, Food, Games, a Kids Zone, and various contests throughout the day.

Last year’s dunk tank with elected officials is coming back to the July 4th festivities at the Fairgrounds.

PARKING

FREE (No parking allowed inside the Fairgrounds)

*No outside food or drinks inside the Fairgrounds.
