Cumming Man Charged With 13 Counts Of Mail Theft

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Deputies from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office have arrested a Cumming man and charged him with 13 counts of theft by taking mail.

Alexander Whitehead, 20, was arrested on 13 warrants after the Property Crimes Unit was able to get witness accounts of the thefts.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office asked for assistance in finding witnesses by making a Facebook post on Jan. 3. Because of leads developed from Facebook, the suspect was identified and booked into the Forsyth County Detention Center, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Whitehead was released on Jan. 13 on a $15,000 bond.
