Cumming Man Fatally Shot During Fight
The victim was allegedly killed by his mother's boyfriend, who now faces murder charges.

A Cumming man was shot and killed during the course of an altercation at a home off of Old Atlanta Road on Wednesday night, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said.
James Tanner Conrad, 25, was allegedly fighting with 57-year-old Frank Huffman, his mother’s boyfriend, at a home in the 1900 block of Quail Hollow Drive. During the fight, Huffman pulled out a gun and shot Conrad one time, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the home and found Conrad in the living room. He was rushed to North Fulton Hospital, where he died at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Deputies have arrested Huffman and have charged him with murder and aggravated assault, the Sheriff’s Office said. He remains behind bars at the Forsyth County jail without bond.
