Cumming Prepares for Veterans Day Ceremony
The event will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

The City of Cumming will hold its annual remembrance of Veterans Day on Tuesday morning at the city’s Veterans Memorial.
The ceremony, which will be led by American Legion Post 307 Commander Randy McGhee, will begin promptly at 11 a.m. at the memorial located at 301 Veterans Memorial Blvd. The armistice which ended the First World War went into effect at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, 1918.
The morning ceremony will include musical entertainment by the Flash Crimson Band from . Also scheduled to be there will be the Forsyth Christian Educators and Boy Scout Troop 245. The North Forsyth High School Marine Corps JROTC will be posting the colors and the Forsyth County Joint Honor Guard Rifle Team will perform a 21-gun salute to honor Cumming’s veterans and its current servicemembers.
