Students from Cumming Earn Academic Achievements
Five students from Cumming studying out of state earn academic achievements.
Robert Michael Gagliano of Cumming earns his way into the fall 2011 Dean's List at Clemson University. Gagliano, who is majoring in Psychology, had to achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale to be named to the Dean's List.

Aaron B. Carr, Brittany R. Gordon and Rachel I. Munn of Cumming have been named to the 2011 fall semester Dean's List at Stamford College.

To qualify for the honor, students must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Joseph Matthew Van Dyke of Cumming has been named to the fall 2011 Commandant's Distinguished Service List at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
Van Dyke, a Criminal Justice major, was recommended by India Company for the Commandant's List.
Citadel cadets named to the Commandant's List are recognized for having made the most positive contributions to their platoon, company, battalion, or staff, the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and The Citadel.
