Cumming School Seeking Donations to Send Christmas Trees to Local Bases
It only takes $40 to send a seven to eight foot tall tree to a military family on a base in Georgia.

An elementary school in Cumming is asking parents to donate money to help buy Christmas trees for military families serving on bases in Georgia.
Coal Mountain Elementary School has partnered with FedEx and the Georgia Christmas Tree Growers Association to donate seven to eight foot tall trees to families serving on military installations across the state. Although it takes $40 to pay for one tree, donations of any amount are accepted. To donate, give your child’s teacher an envelope with the money inside.
Each class will make Christmas cards to send with each tree being donated.
