Cumming Teen Dies In Single-Car Crash
The teenage girl's car crossed an opposing lane, clipped a utility pole and hit a tree Monday.
CUMMING, GA — A 16-year-old Cumming girl died Monday night in a single-car crash at Haw Creek Road, east of Haw Creek Drive, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Tuesday.
Deputies and firefighters responded to the scene around 10:15 p.m. Authorities said the girl was driving a 2004 Audi A4 west on Haw Creek Road.
The Audi did not yield to a curve, crossed the eastbound lane and went into the eastbound shoulder before clipping a utility pole and hitting a tree, authorities said.

Authorities said the girl was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
