Cumming Teen Killed in Car Crash
The 17-year-old was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident, deputies said.

A Cumming man was killed and a second was slightly injured in a Wednesday evening car crash, sheriff’s deputies said.
Caleb Ammons, 17, was riding in a 1998 Honda Civic driven by Ashton Ciunowicz, 18. According to deputies, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Civic left the roadway while trying to negotiate a curve at Dr. Bramblett Road near Milford Trail. The Civic drove down an embankment, started rolling, and hit a tree. The car continued rolling until it stopped a short distance away, deputies said.
Ammons was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was thrown from the Civic. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ciunowicz had to be cut out of his seat belt, but was taken to North Fulton Hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
