Deck the Stalls: Save the Horses 2017 Holiday Event
The public is invited to spend the afternoon with animals at a local horse rescue's final fundraiser of the year: Deck the Stalls
CUMMING, Georgia - Save the Horses' annual holiday event, Deck the Stalls, takes place on Saturday, December 2 from 11a to 4p (Rain or shine) at the horse rescue farm at 1768 Newt Green Road in Cumming, GA.
Its the farm's final fundraising event of the year where it hopes to raise funds to continue to feed and provide medical care for nearly 130 rescued horses and other animals.
About Deck the Stalls
This annual event is the final fundraiser of the year for Save the Horses Rescue. Funds are used to feed, rescue, and rehabilitate abandoned, abused and neglected horses. Currently the rescue is home to nearly 130 animals. With no federal or state funding, the rescue has to rely on donations to operate from corporations and individuals.

Deck the Stalls offers fun for all ages and features sleigh-hay rides, "reindeer" rides, petting zoo, face painting, holiday treats, home baked goods, vendors and so much more. Plus the public is invited to meet all the horses and other animals (including sheep, goats, miniature and dwarf horses, chickens, ducks, a turkey and a cow named Rosie) that call Save the Horses home.
This year Santa will visit the farm. He is due to arrive at 1PM (due to heavy North Pole traffic) and will stay until 4PM. All children who have been good all year are invited to meet him.

This is a rain or shine event. It will be held in the barn if it rains. Free parking & admission.
Vendors Needed
Vendors needed for the Deck the Stalls holiday event at Save the Horses. The fee is only $25 for a 12' x 12' space. You will meet lots of families looking for last minute holiday gifts. Don't miss this great opportunity.
