- Home-brewed spirits will soon be served at the Cumming City Center. City officials announced last Friday that Simple Man Distillery, a fully-operational distillery, will be coming soon to the city's new Main Street. The distillery will resemble a speakeasy and include a barrel room and a tasting room. (NewsBreak Original)
- The Cumming City Center is partnering with one of its tenants, Pieces & Peaches, to offer seasonal pop-up markets. Property Manager Jennifer Archer says the events will give local businesses, artisans, and craftspeople a chance to sell their wares at the new facility. The first pop-up event will take place this fall on Oct. 22, and there is a holiday market scheduled for Nov. 19. (NewsBreak Original)
- A new art exhibit featuring more than 80 artworks by 23 artists debuted at the Cumming Arts Center last week. The "Summer Days" exhibit runs Thursdays through Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. It is open now through Jul. 30. (Cumming Patch)
