The Cumming Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy along with the Hiram Parks Bell Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans welcomes everyone to their annual Confederate Memorial Day Commemoration at the Zion Hill Baptist Church on Matt Highway. The program will include rifle and artillery salutes from re-enactors with the 43rd Georgia, military service awards to local veterans, period music, roll call of Confderates buried at Zion Hill, and a Memorial address from Lt. Col. R. Edward Shelor of the Georgia Military College on "Robert E. Lee, the last years."
