Children's book author Doraine Bennett will give an insider's view of writing for the educational market. Bennett, who has written more than a dozen books used in schools and school libraries, will share information about who publishes educational books and how new writers can break into the market.
The event, to be held at the Hampton Park library, is sponsored by the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. It is open to the public and is a great way to meet and network with other writers of books for young readers.
