Down Under Fest

A three day Australian and New Zealand event packed with excitement for the entire family.  Come see live kangaroos, eat a meat pie, learn to kick an Aussie Rules Football Ball, listen to live music and sample the Down Under Ale.  The event kicks off on Friday night with a free movie.  On Saturday and Sunday, 10am-6pm, come watch the First Annual Down Under Fest Footy All-Stars Cup a national Australian Rules Football competition featuring players from the Atlanta Regional teams as well as across the USA.  The USA men's team, The Revolution, and the USA ladies team, The Freedom, will be onhand.   On Monday, Rugby, Cricket and Netball matches will be held.  Activities for kids of all ages including:  petting zoo, slides, face painting, design and learn to play a didjeridoo, indigenous dancers, sports figures, sheep dog demonstrations, rock art painting and various educational themed adventures that will teach them - without their knowing it.  Shopping, a pub, and all those crazy accents will round it all off!   www.downunderfest.com
