Northside Hospital-Forsyth to Host Free Weight Loss Surgery Event, Jan. 30

New Year’s Day often marks the beginning of weight loss resolutions and a new, healthier life. However, for many people, success with traditional diet and exercise just doesn’t work. Weight loss surgery can be an option to consider and discuss with your physician. But where can you turn for reliable health information to get you started?

will host a free Health Event on Monday, Jan. 30 to allow the community to meet Northside’s weight loss surgery experts and learn valuable information about available surgery options, as well as nutrition, exercise and more.

Find out if you’re a candidate for weight loss surgery.  Representatives from Northside’s Bariatric Surgery Services, Sleep Disorders Center, Wellness Center and others will be on hand to answer questions. The event will take place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m to 7 p.m., adjacent to the hospital’s cafeteria, and everyone is invited to attend.
