A summer series of Georgia Movies in the Park™ kicks off in Dawsonville, GA on June 1, 2012 at WarHill Park on Lake Lanier. The free family festival and outdoor movie event will run on June 1 at WarHill Park on Lake Lanier and August 10 at Veterans Memorial Park.
Families in Dawsonville, GA will be able to swim in the lake as well as enjoy a festival chock full of free children's activities before the outdoor movie begins at sundown. The festival includes: face painting, activities, concessions and local vendors. At sundown the film will be shown on Southern Outdoor Cinema's huge, two-story inflatable movie screen in high-definition.
